APP SUPPORT
More time at the basket.
PuttMark is a simple disc golf putting log for Android and iOS. For help, email cmoonjun11@gmail.com. Include your app version, Android or iOS version, what you expected and the steps that led to the issue.
Start and record a practice
Tap New practice, choose feet or meters, enter distance, putters per set and a practice date, then start. After each set, tap the number you made. A set is saved before the next entry. Use Undo last set to reverse the latest set, or open a saved set to correct it.
One unfinished practice can exist at a time. Resume it from Home, finish it, or explicitly discard it before starting another. Change next set changes the next entry’s settings; existing sets keep their original measurements.
Read the numbers
Success rates use total makes divided by total attempts. A 1/1 set followed by a 0/9 set is 1/10, or 10.0%. The summary groups identical original distances and shows sample counts for recent completed practices. Switching display units does not change stored measurements. This app does not detect throws, measure distance, keep course scores or provide coaching.
Save a backup
Open Settings → Backup & data → Save JSON backup. On iOS, open Settings → Backup and restore · JSON → Save backup file. Choose a location in the system file picker. JSON is the complete practice backup; CSV is a spreadsheet-friendly copy of sets. Files are unencrypted and managed by the storage provider you choose. Keep a copy somewhere you control before uninstalling or changing devices. There is no account or automatic practice cloud sync.
Restore carefully
Choose Restore from JSON on Android, or Backup and restore · JSON → Choose JSON backup on iOS, and select a PuttMark backup. PuttMark JSON v1 files work across Android and iOS. Review its creation date and record counts before choosing Replace records. This replaces current practice data instead of merging. An empty backup can remove current practice data too. Cancel and save a backup first if needed. Theme, haptics and privacy choices stay as they are.
Invalid, unsupported, wrong-app and oversized backups are rejected as a whole; existing records are kept. The limit is 5 MiB and 10,000 backup records, including practice settings. If access or saving fails, check the chosen location and retry. Do not assume a canceled or failed save created a complete backup.
Delete records
Use the practice menu to delete a saved practice, or Settings → Backup & data → Delete all practice data for all practices, sets and distance settings. On iOS, Delete all practice data is directly in Settings. Confirm the displayed counts. The last set of a completed practice requires deleting that practice. Files exported earlier remain at their storage locations.
Appearance and privacy
Settings has system/light/dark appearance, distance display units and haptic feedback. The interface follows system text sizing and uses labeled controls. Review applicable ad privacy options in Privacy & advertising on Android or Privacy and ad choices on iOS. Optional usage analytics has a separate switch in Settings. Optional analytics starts off. No ads appear while entering or editing sets; ads are not required for practice or backups.
Send a useful report
Help & app info can copy your version or open an email draft with the app/version and Android or iOS version. You decide whether to send it. If there is no email app, copy the support address. Practice files are not attached automatically. Avoid personal data, passwords, credentials and complete backups; start with the version and reproduction steps. See the privacy policy for data handling.
